Product Description
A solo, single-skin bivvy bag for camping in comfort, the Bush Cocoon provides more space than traditional bivvy bags. It has an additional hoop pole overhead to keep the fly off your face, and it’s got enough room to stash your gear next to you.
A guy cord at the end of the bag allows you to tension the footbox. For greater room at the feet, you can stake out the footbox by fashioning a simple strut from a stick in your surrounds and inserting it into the small webbing pocket at the base of the guy cord.Note: no strut is included.
Perfect on lightweight trips or while thru-hiking solo.
Its seam sealed Pertex® Shield Air fly fabric features an air-permeable nanofibre membrane to provide exceptionally breathable waterproof protection. It feels light and soft, and it can provide consistent breathability.
An additional covered air vent helps to reduce condensation, while a mesh insect screen allows you to open up the bivvy on warm nights.
The Bush Cocoon also incorporates an external zip cover, and its rain ‘gutter’ moves water away from the zip in wet weather.
DAC’s Green Anodization helps minimise the amount of toxic chemicals used to produce tent poles.
