Macpac Encompass Hat

Made from UPF rated nylon fabric, the Encompass Hat has a wide front brim and an extended rear neck flap for excellent sun protection while outside hiking, travelling or planting your vegetable garden. A detachable drawcord secures the hat under the chin in windy weather, while a rear dome tab allows you to roll up the rear neck flap and secure it out of the way when required. Fast to dry and available in one size to fit most people, this hat has elastic gathering at the back of the head to provide the best fit for each individual.

Tested and rated in accordance with the AS4399:2020 standard. The UPF rating applies only to the area of skin covered. Protection may be reduced if the material is wet, stretched or from the effects of normal wear or exposure to chemicals. For best sun protection use hats, clothing that provides maximum skin coverage, sunglasses, sunscreen and shade.
