Comfortable and compact, the Kahuna 18L Backpack was originally based on our popular Kahu Backpack, but has now become an iconic Macpac pack in its own right. With an expandable laptop sleeve, this versatile backpack is all you need when getting around town or hiking in the hills on the weekend.
Made from a tightly woven oxford nylon fabric, the Kahuna offers everyday durability and basic weather resistance during summer squalls. The lightly padded harness features a breathable mesh overlay for warm weather adventures, while the front and internal zip pockets are perfect for stashing small essentials and keeping your wallet safe and out of sight.
At 18 litres, the Kahuna isn’t too big or too small — it’s just right.

Care
You are best to clean your pack with a natural, non-detergent soap and a soft-bristled brush
Suitable soap types are: pure soap, vegetable soap and Nikwax® Tech Wash®
Rinse the pack well and dry it in a well-ventilated area out of direct sunlight
Do not put your pack in the washing machine as this will void your warranty
Always try to keep the zip teeth clean — wash with fresh, clean water and lubricate with a silicon lubricant suitable for use on fabrics
Do not tumble dry, iron or dryclean
